The education crisis is well over 40 years old. Some school districts are lucky to have 30% trained staff in their schools. Meaning, 70% of their staff are people they picked off the streets that could pass a background check. As someone that was a teacher I’m thankful for those bodies to help out, but in no way are they qualified to educate children. Most schools are glorified baby sitters.

We have poverty in today’s world only because the rich and powerful want it that way. The need for resource wars and allowing people to go without essentials ended about 35 years ago. The US alone makes enough food to feed the world. Western nations plus China makes enough energy to power the world.

Red states are shit holes. Women and LGBTQ+ can’t get medical care if they need it. Women and LGBTQ+ can be fired for simply being a women or LGBTQ+. Imagine claiming to be the most free states but thinking only white male Christians are deserving of those freedoms.

The US tax rate is very similar to other nations, the only difference is what we spend our tax money on. Most rational nations spend their tax money on their citizens. The US spends it on other poor countries citizens, but not in the way you are thinking. We spend hundreds of billions of dollars to bury Palestinians under rubble. Hundreds of billions to cover Yemen people alive while they sleep. Meanwhile, school teachers in America have classes over 30 students and have to buy their own school supplies.

It’s like locking 100 people in a small room and demanding no one gets in the way of a fight between two people also in the room. Ask yours, if the West Bank is 100x larger than Gaza why does Israel deport Palestinians only to Gaza?
