If you own a Switch, it’s playable on the GBA app with a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

I’ve played it a bit this year. It’s still decent, but just a bucketload of bots, and some new performance issues like ultra-slow-loading and massive pop-in when you initially load into the map (gameplay impacting).

Realm Royale, Battlerite Royale, Ring of Elysium, Islands of Nyne, there’s been a ton that have launched and either lost critical mass or been shut down.

The first new footage in 2+ years was just released today in the Summer Game Fest livestream.

I don’t have an exact timestamp, but it was after the start, immediately after about 15 minutes of Mortal Kombat – I think it was the second game showcased.

With that strategy, we’d wind up with shell people holding copyrights on behalf of corporations.

Edit: Just wanted to add that I am definitely for the reduction of copyright duration, just that this particular solution has a somewhat amusing flaw.

Risk of Rain 2 has a fabulous mod scene, with a lot of ways to make the game more wild - both in terms of power fantasy and in terms of difficulty - as well as modding in playable characters from other games, like League of Legends and Tomb Raider.

Slay the Spire also has excellent mods, so much so that the developers worked together with a mod team to creator a fan-made expansion.
