This is true of a lot of large companies in general. The fact that they make money in spite of this shows how much the markets favor established players.
Reading this thread I realized that I had no idea what that word meant, figured it was a particular kind of scam.

This is taking some pretty standard business jargon and making it a “red flag”. I get annoyed when people say things like “like a family” too but spouting cliches isn’t necessarily a red flag. Bad guide IMO.
Like Google has an awful bear of an interview process but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad place to work .

Seems like it exploded more and more as physical releases with “parental advisory” stickers became less prevalent. But I think its also part of a broader trend as the internet has completely desensitized people.

The problem with Sekiro is that the combat focuses on one particular thing, and its not an RPG, so if you are bad at that thing, the game is basically unplayable.
There’s a good chance that they were not actually eligible for that discount card. I recall using one once while I didn’t have insurance and I believe they were specifically for people who had no insurance. But you know… The pharmacist probably doesn’t care.
