Yeah that’s what I’m seeing too. Either way, it’s dope, and I hope it stays for a few months. I’ve got a vacation coming up:)
It was a source of inspiration for designers all across the world, but was all fake. It turns out that decision makers love mean-looking dashboards. If that’s something I learned in my years freelancing: when you have a non-tech decision maker, the quality of the info your tool gives is almost irrelevant. But if you make them feel like they are in a sci-fi movie, they will pardon any algorithmic shortcomings
It’s a shame the chairs only controlled pre-prepared slides, but to be fair it was 1973. Apparently the underlying tech was functional though (at least, the initial stages of it), and it allowed Chile to weather the CIA coup longer than anticipated due to the efficiency it brought.
A spinning chair with a power cable running through the base into the chair. Surely that won’t be problematic in any context.

Had no idea there was a reconstruction of it, I would love to visit that someday.
