Ads for tobacco have been outlawed for decades (I remember tobacco sponsors being blurred on broadcasts in the early 2000s), but somehow F1TV did not have to comply until now.
Well, there are vapes sponsors now (considered as tobacco in French law) and there’s the issue of past seasons replays with tobacco sponsors.
Your assumptions are valid, but I think it does not make sense to put the resources do this only for a single market and not globally.
My guess is that F1TV don’t want to bother with blurring every tobacco and vape sponsors in live session and every replays like Canal+ does.

I own the prvke 21L: the camera cube is well designed, the roll top is very useful to increase the bag’s capacity, I find it very confortable to carry but I gotta admit it’s on the heavy side and I wished the higher compartment allowed for more organization (but I understand it would get in the way of the “Pro Camera Cube”)

I believe there is a exponential backoff mechanism in place if an instance cannot push to an other’s inbox, so other instances may not have any attempt left to retry if it has been two days. In my experience un-subscribing then re-subscribing to an instance’s community was enough for it to send posts after a few hours.
