The Solarpunk Pioneers Fund is a private funding initiative with the goal to kickstart and fund solarpunk projects that develop solutions for a good and sustainable livestyle within the planetary boundaries.

We do this with private money that our family wants to invest into a better future, and we do this in our free time next to our day jobs. Hence, we want this project to develop organically, step by step, in exchange with the broader community.

    I also was playing around with that idea, but wasn’t sure if I actually want to fund projects or art and architecture around it.

    Basically paying artists to draw their vision, because that would be like advertising the Solarpunk idea.

      Felix here, we are running the SPF and just put the website online today. In my view it’s more like: Pioneers have a great idea. If they want to realize the project and have to get some materials for the prototypes, then a lack of money should not be the point of failure.
